Import Asian characters with CSV
Follow regular CSV import procedure, with one exception: prepare CSV file for import in Excel with Asian / Chinese characters and save it as Unicode text. Now you can import this file with correct character encoding.
Display Asian characters in PDF
You should select a special font to display Asian characters correctly in the pdf catalog. You can select a default font for the whole catalog or just for a separate text element.
NOTE: Asian fonts are available for paid plans only.
To use Asian font follow the steps below.
First, Enable Asian fonts in My Account page https://www.catalogmachine.com/app/myaccount
Option 1. Select Asian font as default for the whole catalog from Catalog Properties.
Option 2. Select Asian font for the text element.
