How to automate / schedule CSV import from your site, Google Drive, Dropbox

You can create different Zaps to import products CSV from various sources. We show here common examples for Scheduled import and import from Google Drive, Dropbox and Microsoft OneDrive.

Import Products CSV by Schedule

  1. Select Schedule by Zapier app and set your time interval.

  2. Select Import Product CSV action from Catalog Machine app.

  3. Enter CSV File Link - web address of the csv file on any publicly accessible site. 

  4. Test and turn on this zap

Import Products CSV from Google Drive 

Zap will run when Google Sheets file is updated or new file is added to the Google Drive folder. The folder and file should be public - shared to everyone.

  1. Select Updated File or New File action in Google Drive app. Configure Drive and Folder.

  2. Select Import Product CSV action from Catalog Machine app.

  3. Select Export Links Text/csv field in CSV File Link - this will export spreadsheet in CSV format.

  4. Test and turn on this zap

Import Products CSV from Dropbox 

Zap will run when new file is added to the Dropbox folder

  1. Select New File in Folder action in Dropbox app. Configure Folder and select option Include file contents? - yes.

  2. Select Import Product CSV action from Catalog Machine app.

  3. Select File Text field in CSV Content - this will include CSV file content of the Dropbox file.

  4. Test and turn on this zap

Import Products CSV from Microsoft OneDrive

Zap will run when new file is added to the OneDrive folder

  1. Select New File in Folder action in OneDrive app. Configure Folder to watch for new files.

  2. Select Import Product CSV action from Catalog Machine app.

  3. Select Download URL field in CSV File Link - this will include CSV file from OneDrive.

  4. Test and turn on this zap
