Ways to add images

Organize with the Image Manager
Under Products → Images you get a central library:
Group images into folders; search, sort, and filter.
Bulk actions: move, delete, or download as a ZIP backup. Use Download all for your whole library, open a folder to get just that folder, or select images to download only those. Folder structure and original files are preserved.

Replacing an image
Upload the new file over the old one, or use Replace on the product's image. Keeping the same filename is fine. Every image link carries a version marker that changes the moment you save a new file, so browsers and our delivery network fetch the new picture instead of a stored copy. You do not need to rename the file, and you do not need to wait anything out.
If a catalog or Showroom you already published still shows the old picture:
Rebuild the catalog — open it and generate the PDF again, or re-publish. A page built before you replaced the image still points at the previous version until it is rebuilt.
Refresh the CDN copies — on Products → Images, open the ⋮ menu beside Upload Images and choose Refresh CDN copies. Inside a folder it refreshes that folder only. This is a repair for links published before version markers existed, so it is rarely needed.
The viewer's own browser can still hold the old image briefly, and nothing on our side reaches it. Ask them to hard refresh (Ctrl+F5, or Cmd+Shift+R on Mac) or open the link in a private window.
PDFs follow the same rule. Once an image inside a catalog changes, the stored PDF is no longer reused, so the next download is rendered with the new image.
Add an image to a catalog page
Inside the catalog designer, open the Images tab in the right-hand panel. Your uploaded images appear there. Drag any image onto the page, or click it to drop it in. Use the Upload button in that panel to add new images without leaving the designer.
Multiple images & variant images
Multiple images per product — add Image fields to a category (e.g. Main, Detail, Lifestyle). The first is the primary; the rest show in galleries and detail views.
Variant images — give each color/size/style its own image, shown in the catalog and Showroom (Shopify variant images map automatically).
Built-in image editor
Crop, resize, rotate, adjust brightness/contrast, add text or a watermark — right in the browser, no external tool needed.
Formats & storage
Supported: JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF (≈1500–2000px wide recommended). Images are auto-optimized and CDN-delivered. Storage by plan: Free 100 MB · Lite 1 GB · Pro 10 GB · Premium 50 GB.
