Catalog & Showroom Analytics (V2)

See how many people view your catalogs and showroom, download PDFs and place orders, where they come from and what they search for.

Note: This article covers Catalog Machine V2 (app.catalogmachine.com). Analytics is built into V2 and is available on every plan, including Free.

Overview

The Analytics page shows how people use your published catalogs and showroom: how many visits you get, which catalogs and products they look at, how many PDFs they download, how many orders they place, where they come from and what they search for.

Open it from Analytics in the left menu of the app, or go to https://app.catalogmachine.com/analytics.

What you see

  • Summary tiles: Visits, Catalog views, PDF downloads, Showroom views and Orders for the selected period. Click a tile to see its daily chart.

  • Period: switch between the last 7, 30 or 90 days in the top right corner.

  • Pages: one table for your catalogs, showrooms, collections and products, with views, PDF downloads and orders for each. Use the tabs to show one type, or the search box to find a page.

  • Sources: how visitors arrived, for example a direct link, Google, or another page of your showroom.

  • Devices: desktop or mobile.

  • Countries: where visitors are. Click a country to see its regions, then a region to see its cities.

  • Searches: what visitors typed into your showroom search.

  • Searches with no results: what visitors looked for and did not find. This is a good list of products to add, or of names your customers use that differ from yours.

  • All time: account totals since your account started.

Filtering

Click any row in Pages, Sources, Devices or Countries and the whole page narrows to it. Filters stack, so you can look at one catalog, on mobile, from one country. Each active filter appears as a chip at the top of the page. Remove a filter with the x on its chip or the x beside the panel title.

Good to know

  • Visitors are counted anonymously. Analytics does not show who opened your catalog. To know who is viewing, protect the catalog or showroom by email and use the Access Log in your account settings.

  • Detailed numbers for each page start in September 2026. The start date is shown under the Pages table. The All time totals go back further and cover all catalogs together, so they will not match the table.

  • A PDF can be downloaded from a direct link without the catalog page being opened, so a catalog can have more downloads than views.

  • If the page shows no visits, publish a catalog or showroom and share its link. Views appear as people open it.
