Want a catalog that reads like a book (a cover, pages of products with their descriptions, a back cover) rather than a grid of product cards? Build it from layouts: ready-made page designs that you add one page at a time.
1. Add a cover
Open your catalog in the designer.
In the Pages panel, click Add New Page and choose Layout ("Use a predefined layout").
Pick a cover layout. Cover: image & horizontal stripe is the most used; Cover: full page image suits a photo-led catalog.
Click the image and the text on the page to replace them with your own.
2. Add product pages
One product per page, with its description: add a Layout page and choose Hero product. It shows one product large, with its description.
A few products per page: choose a grid or lookbook layout.
Many products at once: choose Auto Grid instead of Layout. It fills as many pages as your products need, and you can switch its Design tab to Full-Page Layouts to mix sizes, for example one large and three small per page. See AutoGrid.
Not every layout has a place for the product description. If the description matters, use Hero product, or check that the layout you pick shows a description before you add many pages.
3. Add a back cover
Add a Layout page at the end and pick Back Cover with postal if you mail the catalog, or any cover layout for a plain back page.
4. Save a page design to reuse it
Once a page looks right, save it as a layout. It appears under My Layouts in the Layouts tab, so your next catalog can start from your own design.
5. Print or share
Use Download PDF to get a printable file, or publish the catalog and share its link. The Free plan can download PDFs too. Catalogs are limited to 10 pages on Free and 50 pages on Lite; Pro and Premium have no page limit.
